Prior to the war, Mr Cumming was a Certified Agriculturist (Embarkation roll). After the war, he appeared to have moved to New South Wales where he was "engaged in the woollen industry". He was socially active in Liverpool, NSW, and took part in golf and social gatherings. Not much was reported about his occupation.
