B.A. : Lieutenant, 33rd Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in 5th Reinforcements 29th September, 1916, was sent to France 30th March, 1917, and fought through the Battle of Messines, being commissioned In the Field for gallantry, as secondlieutenant. Killed in Action, Messines, 16th July, 1917, and buried in Kandahar Farm Cemetery, Neuve-Eglise. Early education at The Armidale School. Later at St. Paul's College.
