Arts : V.A.D., B.R.C., England. Enlisting in London in 1916 after sailing privately, served at Westminster Hospital till November. Then took charge of Burton Station on S.E. coast for East Coast Defence Fund till late in 1917, returning to Australia on account of sickness early in 1918. Early education at Westbourne , Sheffield.
