Enlisting 23rd May, 1917, and sailing 5th November as staffsergeant dispenser, joined No. 2 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Southall, 6th February, 1918, and, crossing to Australian Infantry Base Depot, Havre, 9th May, served till demobilisation.
