Not listed on the Roll of Active Service. Late in 1914 she convened ambulance and hygiene classes for the British Red Cross Society and the VADs, and in 1915 became the tuberculosis officer at the Brighton Borough Sanitorium. Served 1916 - 1917 as an MO with RAMC at Salonica and Malta military hospitals.
