Enlisting 17th January, 1916, and sailing with 7th Reinforcements 2nd May, served in Egypt from 30th May to 7th July and in France till 28th April, igi7- Transferred to Pay Corps, H.Q., London, serving until demobilisation. Early education at Fort St. High School.
