S.C.; Ormond; had completed 1st year Arts before enlisting in February 1917 as Gnr. 27th rfts. F.A.; later with 106th How. Bty., and left England for France at Easter 1918; was at Villers-Bretonneux on 8th August. Illness compelled him to leave his battery at Roisel on 28th October, and he died in hospital at Rouen of pneumonic influenza on 4th November 1918.
