LL.B. : Private, 20th Battn., A.I.F., France; also A.N. and M.E.F., New Guinea. Enlisting 10th August, 1914, and sailing on 18th, served till 4th March, 1915, in New Guinea. Re-Enlisting on the January, 1916, and sailing 7th October, served with battn. till wounded at Bullecourt, 3rd May, 1917, and evacuated to hospital and thence'' to Australia, arriving 3rd January, 1918.
