Shepparton Agric. H.S.; Queen's; 2nd year Engineering.
February 1916; sailed October 1916; and join ed 8th F.C.E. as Spr. in France in April 1917. He was wounded on 26th October 1917, and evacuated to 22nd G.H., Camieres, where he died as a result of his injuries on 7th December 1917. He was buried at Etaples.

Killed in action in the northern sector of the Battle of Hamel on 4th July 1918.
