Med. : Lieutenant, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 1st March, 1915, and sailing 16th June with 4th A.L.H. Field Ambulance as staff-sergeant, dispenser, transferred to 13th A.F.Amb. 16th March, 1916, in Egypt. Crossing to France, served at Pozieres Heights, Bullecourt, Messines, Ypres, Villers-Bretonneux and elsewhere, returning in November, 1918. Promoted lieutenant, 30th August, 1918. Attended Pharmaceutical College, Brisbane.
