Book of Remembrance entry
B.A. : Driver, Small Arms Section, 3rd Divisional Ammunition Column, A.I.F., France. Enlisting 15th May, 1917, and sailing 6th November, served as gunner until injured while working with Infantry at Amiens and, on recovery, as driver until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney High School. Later at Teachers' College; also course of Chemistry at Sheffield University.
