Enlisting 10th November, 1917, and sailing 28th February, 1918, served at No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Rouen, from 18th August and as R.M.O. 4th Division Wing from 20th November, returning in February, 1920. Early education at Xavier College, Kew, Melbourne.
