B.A. : Lieutenant, 34th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 25th July, 1916, as lieutenant and sailing in November, joined battn. in the Ypres sector, 31st August, 1917, and served till death. Killed in Action, Passchendaele, 12th October, 1917. Commemorated in Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. Early education at Newtown and Cleveland St. Superior Public Schools.
