B.Ec. : Sergeant, 12th Battery, A.F.A., France. Enlisting 9th March, 1917, and sailing 5th November, arrived in England 5th January, 1918. Joined battery in France 3rd September and served until demobilisation. Promoted lance-sergeant 17th February, 1919.
