LL.B. : Lieutenant, 13th and 14th Batteries, A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 16th January, 1916, and sailing 30th September as second-lieutenant with 6th Reinforcements, joined 13th Battery after Bullecourt II, 19th May, 1917. Transferring to 14th on 25th October, served with it until demobilisation. Promoted lieutenant, 1st August, 1917. Early education at Turramurra College and Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
