M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 7th July, 1916, and sailing 7th November, served at 9th Training Battn. in England from 13th February, 1917. Crossing to France, joined No. 2 Australian General Hospital, Wimereux, 4th April, 13th Australian Field Ambulance on 16th, 8th A.F.Amb. 6th May, being for short periods R.M.O. 56th, 31st and 53rd Battns. and 3rd Field Artillery Brigade. Early education at Brisbane Grammar School. Later at St. Andrew''s College.
