Book of Remembrance entry
LL.B. : Corporal, 13th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 9th March, 1916, and sailing 7th October, served with battn. and for a time at Battn. H.Q. as draughtsman and non-commissioned officer in charge of observation post. Gassed at Villers- Bretonneux in May, 1918, and evacuated to hospital. Rejoined unit on recovery but was invalided to Australia from Harbonnieres 22nd August.
