B.V.Sc.; D.V.Sc. (Phil.) : Captain, A.A.V.C., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 26th August, 1914, and sailing in October, served as original Veterinary Officer, 3rd Infantry Brigade and later with 1st Field Artillery Brigade till death. Died of Illness, Marseilles, 11th April, 1916, and was buried in Mazarques Cemetery Extension, Marseilles. The Baker and Ridley Memorial Prize was founded in 1924 by the Veterinary Association of New South Wales. Lecturer in Veterinary Anatomy, assisting in establishment of University Veterinary Museum.
