Book of Remembrance entry
LL.B. : Lieutenant, A.F.C. and 9th Field Coy. Engineers, A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting 30th November, 1915, and sailing in June, 1916, served with coy. at Armentieres and Houplines till wounded at Messines in August, 1917, and evacuated to Northampton War Hospital. Transferring to Flying Corps in April, 1918, was commissioned as pilot in October and remained with unit until demobilisation.
