M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting in February, 1918, and sailing 8th May, served in July and August with 3rd Training Battn., Fovant. Crossing to France in November, was with 1st Field Ambulance (British), then at No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, and from January to July, 1919, with 14th A.F.Amb., becoming R.M.O. 53rd and 56th Battns. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
