Econ. I : Gunner, 14th Bde., A.F.A., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 28th June, 1915, and sailing with 9th Reinforcements, joined 2nd Battn. in Egypt 6th January, 1916. Transferring to 54th Battn., 16th February, and to Artillery, 16th March, crossed to France in June and served until demobilisation. Early education at Neutral Bay Public School.
